Eric T. Hahnert

Eric Hahnert is from Louisville, KY and received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville in May 2019. As an undergraduate, Eric worked on the development of micro-reactors to detect the presence of biomarkers in people’s breath with Dr. Xiao-an Fu. After his undergraduate career, Eric researched the properties of nanocellulose, particularly in the field of water purification, with Dr. Orlando Rojas in Aalto University. Outside of the lab, Eric can be found playing soccer, reading a fantasy novel, or going on a hike.
