Yew Jueen Tan
Undergraduate Student

Yew Jueen (pronounced Eugene) is a second year studying in Imperial College London doing a MEng in Chemical Engineering! His research topic is on highly conductive and selective microporous polymers for non-aqueous redox flow batteries (NARFBs). The concept of membranes has particularly sparked his interest, as they offer a promising future for minimizing environmental impact while achieving efficient separation under ambient conditions—an aspect that aligns perfectly with his passion for sustainable solutions. When he is not immersed in studies and his professional endeavors, he finds joy in participating in various sports, with badminton and swimming being his top choices. He also enjoys listening to a wide range of musical genres.
