Aleksandar Mikov
Visiting Student

Aleksandar is from Bulgaria and is a third-year Ph.D. student in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at EPFL, advised by Prof. Andreas Züttel. He received a B.Sc. Honours in Materials Chemistry from McGill University, where he worked with Prof. Dmitrii Perepichka on organic synthesis for organic optoelectronic applications. During his research exchange at MIT, Aleksandar is developing high-performance polymer membranes for natural-gas purification. Outside of the lab, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and hiking.
