Andy Han
Postdoctoral Associate

Andy’s research interests lie broadly in rational design and synthesis of nonporous materials for applications in membrane and adsorption-based separations, aiming to address the challenges and opportunities of the water-energy nexus by using energy-efficient separation technologies. He has published 9 invited book chapters and around 40 articles in refereed scientific literature. He received the 2014 NAMS Student Fellowship award and the Singapore Young Chemical Engineer of the Year Award in 2015. Dr. Han earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Dalian University of Technology, China, and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore under the supervision of Prof. Tai-Shung (Neal) Chung.
