Duha Syar
Undergraduate Student

Duha is a current undergraduate student from NYC majoring in Chemical Engineering. Her previous research experience included a year working at NYU Tandon’s Bio-Interfacial Engineering and Diagnostics Lab where she worked towards developing a model for RNA-Morpholino hybridization. Currently she is enamored by polymers and other materials that can be used to reduce greenhouse emissions and take us towards a more sustainable future. Outside of the lab, she enjoys cooking, eating, and beating her friends in board games. In order to balance out all of that consumption, she rows on the MIT Women’s Open Weight Crew Team as a Division 1 athlete.
