Jing Ying Yeo
Graduate Student

Jing Ying came from Singapore and has completed her B.E. degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She worked on the crystal engineering of Metal-organic frameworks for carbon capture applications and the Solidified Natural Gas (SNG) technology via the use of clathrate hydrates at NUS for her undergraduate research. Being the recipient of the A*STAR (Singapore’s lead government research agency) undergraduate scholarship, she had the opportunity to work at the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Science on the polymorphic crystallization of glycine crystals under the guidance of Dr Han Guangjun. Jing Ying has a passion for developing sustainable technologies and is committed to designing gas separation technologies for pragmatic and applicable objectives in the Smith Lab. Outside of work, Jing Ying loves to sing and was a member of a Mandopop band at NUS.
