Philippe Jean-Baptiste
Graduate Student

Philippe was born and raised in Queens, New York. He received his Bachelor’s in engineering from the City College of New York last year in 2021. In Philippe’s undergrad, he initially worked on studying the aggregation of magnetic Janus particles both under a magnetic field and not. He later worked on analyzing the discharge product of a zinc alkaline battery under galvanostatic discharge using image processing. Currently, he is about to start working on spinning hollow fiber membranes as well as creating thin film composites for the purpose of gas and solvent separations. In his free time, Philippe enjoys playing video games or reading comic books.
