Sharon Lin
Graduate Student

Sharon Lin is from Guilderland, New York (a suburb of Albany), and went to University at Buffalo SUNY (UB) for her undergraduate degree, where she earned a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2016. At UB, she worked with Professor Blaine Pfeifer on polymers for gene delivery. At MIT, she completed the Chemical Engineering Practice School program in Spring 2018, and her current research focus is on manipulating polymer film morphology for gas separation applications. When she’s not in the lab, Sharon enjoys baking, drawing, and playing hours of Animal Crossing.
